ADEPT COMPLETES STUDY IN SUPPORT OF THE NATIONAL PICKLEBALL CENTER & US OPEN PICKLEBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

ADEPT Completes Tourism Impact Study for New Expansion and Enhancements at The National Pickleball Center for the host of the US Open Pickleball Championships

Collier County, Florida selected ADEPT to conduct an Independent Professional Tourism Impact Study at the National Pickleball Center in Naples, Florida.

The Tourism Impact Study analyzed how infrastructure improvements contained in the amended sponsorship agreement between Collier County and Spirit Promotions to host the 2026-2032 US Open Pickleball Championships will impact tourism-related business in Collier County, Florida.

This study was a requirement under Florida law for grant agreements between the Collier County Tourist Development Council (TDC) and Collier County. The agreement includes an investment of up to one million dollars for the following:

• Construction of a new championship court at East Naples Community Park’s National Pickleball Center with a waterproof canopy to be located immediately adjacent to the current championship court and also house the US Open Pickleball Academy. 

• The installation of a new sound system distributed through East Naples Community Park. 

These improvements are only the start to a larger Masterplan for the entire complex envisioned for the future as a Private/Public Partnership:

Overall, with the tourism industry being a critical component of Collier County’s economy and the region’s reputation as a world class sports destination,

ADEPT’s professional opinion was that the project improvements contained in the agreement, once finished, would attract more pickleball players and visitors, thereby contributing to increased tourism and tourism-related business in Collier County.
