The City of Marathon, Florida, requested an independent Professional Tourism Impact Study that analyzes how reconstruction of the Finger Piers and electronic motion graphic sign at the Seven Mile Marina will impact tourism and tourist-related business in the City of Marathon and Monroe County, Florida.

This study is a requirement under Florida law for grant agreements between the Monroe County Tourist Development Council (TDC) and the Marathon City Council. The Monroe County TDC is a nine-member advisory board appointed by the Monroe County Commission that manages Monroe County's tourism marketing efforts to ensure long-term economic stability resulting from tourist-related revenue.

"The redevelopment of the 7-Mile Marina is poised to provide significant benefits to the Marathon community" stated Dana Pollitt, Founder and President of ADEPT. "By transforming the site into a functional and attractive public space, the project aims to boost local tourism, provide enhanced recreational opportunities, and stimulate economic growth in the area," concluded Pollitt.

ADEPT delivered a thorough Tourism Impact Study that found that the improvements completed in the Seven-Mile Marina Slips Project will have a positive impact on tourism and tourist-related business in the City of Marathon and Monroe County, Florida.
