ADEPT PR Awarded Trendy Las Olas Blvd. Project In Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Local PR Firm To Support Outreach For Las Olas Blvd. Design Project

ADEPT Public Relations has been selected as part of the Caltran Engieneering Group, Inc. team for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 4 Design Services Contract for Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Looking to appeal to a wider audience, plans to revitalize one of Fort Lauderdale’s famous boulevards is in full swing.  Fort Lauderdale city commissioners voted in May to send a proposal to the state for study and design that would evaluate the current driving lanes and median.

The project is a Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) sponsored mobility project administered by the FDOT that requires a robust Public Involvement approach for the Las Olas Blvd corridor.   ADEPT PR will be providing the team with Public Involvement services, as required.

In related news a team was recently retained to recast five blocks or roughly 250,000 square feet of storefronts along the quaint boulevard. Attracting new businesses is part of a coordinated effort to bring new energy to the area amid an increase in residential and commercial development.

As Fort Lauderdale evolves there is a need for a more walkable lifestyle destination like Las Olas Boulevard. Mobility throughout the City is increasingly being enhanced.  Providing more offerings while maintaining the charm of Las Olas Blvd. will help accommodate our residents and guests who visit Fort Lauderdale.

With landlords along Las Olas corridor aiming to bring national retailers to the Blvd. all of these efforts will support future generations who visit the famous boulevard.
