FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. (January 19, 2016) – The City of Key West Mayor and City Commission unanimously approved the award of a three-year contract, with optional two-year extension, for Marketing Services to ADEPT Strategy & Public Relations in accordance with their successful response to the City’s request for proposal.
The contract allows the marketing and promotion savvy public relations firm to generate marketing, communications, and advertising for the Key West Historic Seaport. New brand development and management; advertising; marketing; media planning and management; social media strategy, implementation, and management; graphic design; website design and development; and market research are all part of the services to be provided by the Fort Lauderdale, Florida headquartered company.
To support the local economy in Monroe County, ADEPT has established an office in Key West and will be utilizing the services of a local Key West based communications firm.
“There is significant opportunity to position the City of Key West and the Key West Historic Seaport as a premier tourist destination,” said Dana Pollitt, Managing Partner at ADEPT Public Relations. ”We hope to identify new marketing avenues for the Key West Historic Seaport and assist in identifying its brand,” concluded Pollitt.
ADEPT intends on developing strategic marketing communications and brand support to assist the Key West Historic Seaport in promoting initiatives, events, and programs. The firm looks to recommend and implement media strategies, including media buys, negotiate with advertising media and oversee and evaluate services provided by advertising media. Additionally, ADEPT will offer input on the Key West Historic Seaport’s current digital presence (including the current website and social media sites maintained by the City of Key West).
