As COVID-19 vaccines became widely available in the spring of 2021, it was critical to spread the message on the importance of residents getting vaccinated. That’s why starting in late spring, ADEPT partnered with the Broward County Office of Public Communications and the Florida Department of Health in Broward County to help spread the word.
This collaboration involved ADEPT conceptualizing, storyboarding, developing, directing, and producing two 30-second public service announcement (PSA) television commercials geared toward Broward residents age 12 and up. You can check out both public service announcements right here.
But our work combating COVID-19 actually began in March 2020, when ADEPT launched video, billboard, bus bench, social media, and other targeted advertising as part of Broward County's aggressive outreach program to educate residents on preventing the spread of COVID-19.
Additionally, in the fall of 2021, ADEPT canvassed nearly 5,000 homes in the Broward Municipal Services District (BMSD) using a digital application with real time updates that enabled canvassers to reach traditionally underserved communities with the information they needed on vaccine locations and other vaccine-related questions.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue doing our part to help Broward residents stay safe, healthy, and free of COVID-19!
